Greek producer Cultura Olive Oil has its third award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition in four years.
Winning at the NYIOOC is the year's reward that makes our painstaking efforts worthwhile and a firm quality assurance for our partners.

The Olympia-based producer earned its third Gold Award for its organic medium Olympia, which was previously awarded in 2020 and 2021.
"Winning at the NYIOOC is the year's reward that makes our painstaking efforts worthwhile and a firm quality assurance for our partners," owner Labrini Tsitsou said.
She added that the award is especially meaningful as the challenges facing her company to produce extra virgin olive oil continue to mount.
"We are going through one crisis after another," Tsitsou said. "So, along with the droughts and heat waves, which are of grave concern, now the rising costs and lack of supplies is another thorny issue that adds up to more insecurity."
Held each spring in New York, the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
