The Istria-based company earned its second-ever Gold Award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for its O 17 brand, a medium blend.

"Winning a Gold Award for our brand means a lot to us," chief executive Sladjana Radinovic said. "Awards always help a lot in marketing our olive oil and strengthening our brand."

In the 2022/23 crop year, the company produced 1,500 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.

"The harvest was very good in Istria," Radinoci confirmed. "There were no problems with pests, just a little drought."
