S.A. Andriotis Awarded for Organic Lianelia
S.A. Andriotis from Greece has earned its second award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
The challenges that we faced in the harvest period in Corfu were the lack of labor and the heavy and continuous rains. Nevertheless, we managed to have a very good quality olive oil.

The company earned a Silver Award for its Olithea Corfu brand, an organic medium Lianelia. The brand previously won a Gold Award in 2021.
"We are pleased that we have won an award at NYIOOC," marketing manager Niko Andriotis said. "This award is the result of the effort we make to highlight the quality of Corfu olive oil around the world."
In the 2022/23 crop year, Olithea Corfu produced three tons of extra virgin olive oil. Andriotis said producers on Corfu had to overcome several challenges to produce their award-winning olive oils.
"The challenges that we faced in the harvest period in Corfu were the lack of labor and the heavy and continuous rains," he said. "Nevertheless, we managed to have a very good quality olive oil."
