Les Merveilles

By Château Calissanne

Les Merveilles is an AOP Huile d'Olive d'Aix-en-Provence - Fruité Vert. It is a blend of selected Aglandau (50 percent) and Salonenque (50 percent) olives grown on the estate’s uplands. This grove of old trees sustained very little damage in the big freeze of 1956. We aim for delicacy and a balance between attractive fruity intensity and a rounded style with this oil. It will wow you with its swirl of citrus, floral and lime-blossom notes. It is fresh, intense and refined oil.

About Château Calissanne

Château Calissanne, a thousand-year-old property in the heart of a unique 1,200-hectare territory, has been producing olive oil since 1846 in the Aix-en-Provence region. The family estate has 60 hectares of traditional olive groves: 100 olive trees per hectare (compared to 300 trees per hectare for a modern olive grove). Production is exclusively owner-harvested and all our olive oils have a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO): single origin, exclusively from our own olives.
