Durant Olive Mill from the United States has won four more awards at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.
This is our eighth consecutive year of winning at the NYIOOC. We continue to receive third-party validation of our extra virgin olive oil that is so important for consumers.

The Oregonian producer earned three Gold Awards for a medium Frantoio, robust Estate Blend and medium Mission, along with a Silver Award for a medium Arbequina.
"This is our eighth consecutive year of winning at the NYIOOC," owner Paul Durant said. "We continue to receive third-party validation of our extra virgin olive oil that is so important for consumers."
Since 2016, Durant Olive Mill has won 24 awards for its Frantoio, Arbequina, Koroneiki and Mission monovarietals, along with its Estate and Tuscan blends.
In the 2022/23 crop year, Durant Olive Mill produced 30,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil. Durant said the early onset of cold weather ahead of the harvest forced him to begin earlier than he had hoped.
"We were faced with cold weather conditions in early November that forced picking soon than we would have liked," he added.
Held each spring in New York, the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
