Central Coast Olive Company Wins Gold Award
Central Coast Olive Company from the United States has won its fourth-consecutive award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.
It is very gratifying, and humbling, to win a Gold Award at the NYIOOC. Long considered as the competition to enter to be judged against the finest olive oils in the world, we are thrilled to receive the acknowledgment that our extra virgin olive oil is among the finest.

The California producer earned a Gold Award for its medium Mission. The brand earned a Gold Award in 2020 and Silver Awards in 2021 and 2022.
"It is very gratifying and humbling to win a Gold Award at the NYIOOC," owner Beth McCown said. "Long considered as the competition to enter to be judged against the finest olive oils in the world, we are thrilled to receive the acknowledgment that our extra virgin olive oil is among the finest."
After a challenging harvest, recognition by the NYIOOC analysis team was even more gratifying for Central Coast Olive Company.
"As always, a big challenge is when to harvest," McCown said. "We want the olives to be at their peak, not too green and not too ripe."
"As olives ripen at different times - even on the same tree - it's part wisdom, part science and a whole lot of magic," she added. "It looks like we did it right this year."
