Ushimado Superior

By Nippon Olive Co., Ltd.

This year's Ushimado Superior EVOO is fruity oil that stands out with its impressive freshness. It is a blend of the Nevadillo Blanco, Mission and Lucca varieties, which were harvested in early October. All the fruit is grown on Okayama Ushido's farm, and pruning work (etc.) is carried out with the highest degree of care. The healthiest fruits are selected and hand-harvested at the ideal time. The olives are then quickly pressed to create the freshest oil.

About Nippon Olive Co., Ltd.

Waichiro Hattori planted olives after cultivating the hills of Ushimado on April 19, 1942. He said that olives are useful as food, medicine and also to light lamps.
