Al Torcio Blend

By Al Torcio

The Al Torcio Blend is a mixture of Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo, Ascolana and Bianchera exta virgin olive oils. It boasts a golden-yellow color with a hint of green. It reveals an intense and vegetal smell with elegant notes of freshly-mowed grass and the mild aroma of vegetal flavors with overtones of mint and basil in the aftertaste. It is complex and fine with the flavor of lettuce, chicory, artichoke and sweet almond at the end. The EVOO also contains harmonious bitter and peppery notes.

About Al Torcio

We cultivate about 1,800 olive trees in five different groves. To fertilize them, we use a special self-produced fertilizer obtained from fermented olive pomace. All our oils are transformed in our mill, which is situated in one of the groves. Our olives are picked exclusively by hand and milled within a few hours. We produce eight single cultivars: Leccino, Pendolino, Frantoio, Rosulja, Itrana, Ascolana, Bjelica, Moraiolo and a blend of our best olive oils.
