Tucany’s D’uliva Wins Award at World Competition
D'uliva from Italy has won its premier award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.

The Tuscany-based producer earned a Silver Award for a medium blend. "What an achievement," owner Rita Guastella said.
"We have worked very hard, and production has been lower than expected," she added. "We are optimistic going forward."
Like many other producers from Italy, Parekh said the 2022/23 crop year was a challenging one, but she remains optimistic about the future.
"Challenging year, but what a great one," she added. "We are on the path to being organic and are already PGI. We're very happy with the results."
Held each spring in New York, the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world's most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
