The Veneto-based producer earned two Gold Awards for its Paneolio Amethyst brand, a medium blend, and Paneolio Peridot brand, a medium Grignano.
"We are very happy to be awarded again on the international stage," owner Peter Pan said. "Every year, we struggle with different environmental conditions and try to achieve the best possible results with our olive oil."
"The hard work has paid off, and we are overjoyed that our olive oil has once again received recognition," he added.
The producer previously earned Gold Awards in the 2019 and 2021 editions of the world's largest olive oil quality competition. In the 2022/23 crop year, Pan said he overcame difficult climatic conditions to produce 8,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil.
"This year, we had to deal mainly with an extreme drought from early summer to harvest," he said. "Water resources were scarce, and it required a very careful and efficient use of water in agriculture."
