The Groves on 41 Continue Winning Ways at World Competition
The Groves on 41 from the United States has won two awards at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
We're thrilled. The awards are an endorsement that our high-polyphenol extra virgin olive oils are not just good for you, but they stand up to a very competitive taste challenge, too.

The California-based producer earned a Silver Award for a medium Koroneiki and a Gold Award for a medium Arbequina.
The mother-daughter team has been awarded at every competition edition since 2018.
"We're thrilled," chief executive Karen Tallent said. "The awards are an endorsement that our high-polyphenol extra virgin olive oils are not just good for you, but they stand up to a very competitive taste challenge, too."
Located in California's fruitful San Luis Obispo County, Tallent said the company faced several challenges producing its olive oil this year.
"We had a significant fruit load that the harvester just couldn't handle, so the actual yield was diminished, sadly," she said. "We'll use this 'off-year' [in the olive trees' natural alternate bearing cycle] for significant pruning and further opening up the canopies."
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition held each spring in New York, is the world's most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
