OPG Dean Fabijančić from Croatia has won two Gold Awards at the 2022 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.

The company produces organic extra virgin olive oil in Istra (Croatia) from Buza Zenska Vodnjanska olives using traditional harvesting methods.

"We are very happy to take a part in such a great project and competition," said Dean Fabijančić, the company's owner, when he heard the news of the awards. "Two gold medals are the perfect way to start a relationship with NYIOOC and a confirmation of many years of hard work. Looking forward to new achievements and many satisfied customers."

"Because of bad weather conditions, there was a drop in the quantity of our oil, but the quality was excellent," Fabijančić noted.
