Italian producer Olive Oil & Beyond has won a Gold and Silver Award at the 2021 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.

It is always a good feeling to be recognized, especially with the stellar producers who we love and appreciate.

Matthew Pour, CEO

The company produces extra virgin olive oil in Sicily from Coratina and Nocellara olives using traditional methods. Olive Oil & Beyond earned the Gold Award for a medium Nocerella and the Silver Award for a medium Coratina.

"It is always a good feeling to be recognized, especially with the stellar producers who we love and appreciate," Matthew Pour, the company's CEO, said.

Pour attributed Olive Oil & Beyond's success to their careful and methodical production process.

"Our accurate process, controlled along each stage of production, ensures that we obtain products of the highest quality," he said. "This is the most challenging part for all producers."
