Oleicola Jaen SA Awarded for Molisabor Coupage

The Spanish company Oleicola Jaen SA has won a Gold Award at the 2022 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.

The company produces extra virgin olive oil in Andalusia (Spain) from a blend of olives using intensive harvesting methods.

Clara Parejas, marketing manager for the company said winning the industry's most coveted award was "an absolute honor."

"[The NYIOOC award is] recognition of meticulous work and control of all the processes that lead to the excellent quality of a premium EVOO," Parejas added.

Oleicola Jaen SA won a Gold Award for its Molisabor Coupage, a medium blend.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
