In the 2019/20 season, the company produced 12,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using machine methods.
Company owner, Nazif Cavusoglu, said he and the production team were very happy to receive the award.
"The NYIOOC is an exceptionally reliable competition to measure the quality of our products on the international level," he said.
Cavusoglu added that the award capped off a pretty good year for Nutra Sol, although he said some of his lower-altitude olive groves had struggled a bit during the harvest.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
