Italian producer Agroalimentari del Colle has won two Gold Awards at the 2021 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
We are honored to have received these prestigious awards. Since our products can be found in the best department stores worldwide, we firmly believe that these awards will help us increase our brand awareness.
Antonia Isabella Perrone said about the award
The company produces extra virgin olive oil in Puglia from Coratina and Nocellara olives using traditional methods. Agroalimentari del Colle earned the two Gold Awards for its medium Masserie di Sant'Eramo Monocultivar Coratina and Masserie Di Sant'Eramo Monocultivar Nocellara, a medium blend.
"We are honored to have received these prestigious awards," owner Antonia Isabella Perrone said. "Since our products can be found in the best department stores worldwide, we firmly believe that these awards will help us increase our brand awareness."
The producer behind the Masserie di Sant'Eramo brands added that despite Italy's poor harvest in 2020, quality was as high as ever.
"Despite last year's yields decreasing in Italy, the quality of our premium extra virgin olive oil remains high," Perrone said. "We have been able to produce several different extra virgin olive oils of exceptional quality, including organic and monovarietal, which have been awarded by worldwide award-bodies."
