This success and award mean that we need to do even more to make our oil better and maintain such a high level of quality. It makes us strive to be even better.

Sandra Bašić, marketing manager

In the 2020/21 crop year, the company produced 300 liters of extra virgin olive oil in Dalmatia using traditional methods. OPG Slobodan Bašić earned the Silver Award for its Gangaro brand, a medium Oblica.

"This success and award mean that we need to do even more to make our oil better and maintain such a high level of quality," Sandra Bašić, the company's marketing manager, said. "It makes us strive to be even better."

Bašić added that the award was particularly special after the team of producers had overcome a challenging harvest, but reaped a bountiful reward.
