Loopline Olives Awarded for 5th Year at NYIOOC
Loopline Olives from New Zealand has won a Silver Award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
We are delighted to receive international recognition for a fifth year.
Stephen Davies Howard said about the award
The company was awarded for its medium-intensity Picual monovarietal. Founded by a former fighter pilot, Loopline Olives has also earned six Gold Awards since 2020.
"We are delighted to receive international recognition for a fifth year," owner Stephen Davies Howard said.
In the 2022/23 crop year, Loopline Olives produced 3,500 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
Davies Howard said 2023 had been a challenging harvest with a "very low yield after a very wet summer."
