Situated in Dalmatia, Croatia's largest olive-growing region, the family farm earned awards for its organic medium-intensity Eden Oblica Blend and organic medium Eden Leccino Blend. Both brands previously earned Gold Awards at the 2021 NYIOOC.
"We are always humbled and joyous to win at the NYIOOC," owner Delfa Perica said. "It's a step onwards and upwards in our long and fruitful journey."
The company produces organic extra virgin olive oil from 7,500 Leccino, Picholine, Oblica, Maurino, Pendolino and Frantoio trees using traditional methods.
Perika said the award capped off a fruitful year for the company.
"We were bestowed this year with a bountiful harvest that gave us an excellent product," she said. "There were a few hardships that we had to face, but nothing that could not be handled with dedication and teamwork."
