Corsica’s Domaine Petraghje Wins 2nd Straight World Competition Award

French producer Domaine Petraghje has won a Silver Award at the 2024 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the largest prestigious olive oil quality contest.

We are very happy with this award. Winning shows our customers that our olive oil is high-quality, and for us, it is proof that we are doing good work in our olive grove.

Situated on the Mediterranean island of Corsica, the company earned its second-straight World Competition accolade for its Elaïa brand, a delicate Ghjermana di Casinca.

"We are very happy with this award," said owner Roger Philippe Maurizi. "Winning shows our customers that our olive oil is high-quality, and for us, it is proof that we are doing good work in our olive grove."

In the 2023/24 crop year, Domaine Petraghje produced 4,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil from its grove of 1,300 trees. "We have not encountered any difficulties with this year's harvest.
