Cobram Estate Awarded for 4 California Brands
Cobram Estate from the United States has won two Gold and two Silver awards at the 2022 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, extending the company's impressive winning streak at the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
The company produces extra virgin olive oil in California from Coratina, Mission, Arbosana, Manzanillo, Arbequina, Picual olives.

"Achieving these results at the NYIOOC helped to validate all the effort we put forward every day to create the highest quality extra virgin olive oil."
Cobram Estate won Gold Awards for its 100% California Robust, a robust blend, and for its California Select, a medium blend.
Silver Awards went to Cobram Estate's 100% California Mild, and 100% California Classic, a delicate blend.
"With extensive farm growth and partnerships in California, we prepared to harvest more trees than ever," Chavez told Olive Oil Times when asked about this year's award-winning harvest. "We experienced torrential downpours, not seen in a generation. While needed, it created complicated field conditions and gave zero margins for error. Our partners, operations and millers worked tirelessly to produce the best oils we’ve ever made."
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
