ZO Červar Awarded Gold in World Olive Oil Competition
ZO Červar from Croatia has won a Gold Award at the 2022 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
Our effort and work have been rewarded in the best possible way, which is the strongest incentive to continue on the path we have set.

Situated in the northwestern peninsula of Istria, the company earned its third-consecutive Gold Award for a medium Coratina.
Previously, the company earned a Gold Award in 2021 for a medium Bianchera and a Gold Award in 2020 for a robust Coratina.
"Our effort and work have been rewarded in the best possible way, which is the strongest incentive to continue on the path we have set," said Deni Červar, the company's marketing manager.
In the 2021/22 crop year, ZO Červar produced 5,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
"We will remember this year in many ways," Červar said. "Completely unexpected and problematic, but also extremely positive situations alternated, which in some way corrected the difficulties caused by the weather and at the same time gave us new reasons for pride and satisfaction."
