Third Generation Family Farm Arula Celebrates Debut NYIOOC Win
Croatian producer Arula has won a Gold Award at the 2024 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.

Situated in northwestern Istria, the third-generation family farm earned its debut accolade at the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest for a medium-intensity Buza.
"We feel great about winning this award," said owner Marko Arula. "This means that we are on the right path of achieving top quality."
In the 2023/24 crop year, Arula produced 2,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
"During the harvest, we faced bad weather and a lot of rain, but with the help of family and friends, we managed to finish everything just in time," Arula said.
