Aposstar has won an award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
It means a great deal to have won an award in the top competition worldwide, but we won't stop improving for the years to come

The Greek producer, which exports to Bulgaria, earned a Silver Award for its APOS brand, a medium-intensity Maroneia.
"This was our first-ever competition, and we were very anxious as to how our product would compare to others," co-owner Apostol Deludis said. "We had a lot of confidence in this year's harvest, and we were very excited to have won the NYIOOC recognition."
"It means a great deal to have won an award in the top competition worldwide, but we won't stop improving for the years to come," he added.
According to Deludis, Aposstar's NYIOOC award caps off an excellent harvest for the company.
"We were lucky to avoid any large obstacles," he confirmed. "Even though in many regions the harvest was less than optimal, we had a great year in Northern Greece."
Held each spring in New York, the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world's most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
