San Bartolomeo
San Bartolomeo extra virgin olive oil is a blend of Canino, Frantoio and Arbequina olives. This high-quality EVOO has a taste characterized by fruity, herbaceous notes thanks to the early harvesting of the Canino olives. The oil has slightly spicy and bitter nuances due to the high quantity of polyphenols.
Where to Find The family-run San Bartolomeo Farm was founded in the 1990s by Silvio Marsan. It produces organic extra virgin olive oil and eggs and breeds chickens, turkeys and rabbits. Our olive grove and chickens perfectly coexist. The chickens enjoy the shade and protection of the olive trees and contribute to their fertilization. The olives are harvested at the right point of ripeness and immediately moved to our onsite mill. The extracted oil has a very low degree of acidity and peroxides.
