The Olive Connection Wins Gold at World Competition
Greek producer The Olive Connection has won a Gold Award at the 2021 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
The Gold Award confirms our company values and our dedication to produce one of the top olive oils in Greece. Additionally, it provides our customers with proof of quality, which will help them with their buying decision.

In the 2020/21 crop year, the company produced 20,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil in Kalamata, on the Peloponnese peninsula, from Koroneiki olives using traditional methods. The Olive Connection won its second consecutive Gold Award for its Kouskoulas Premium brand, a medium Koroneiki.
"The Gold Award confirms our company values and our dedication to produce one of the top olive oils in Greece," Natalie Papoutsoglou, the company's CEO, said. "Additionally, it provides our customers with proof of quality, which will help them with their buying decision."
Despite the award, the 2020/21 harvest was far from easy for The Olive Connection, with challenging weather conditions ranging from too little rain to too much rain complicating the harvest.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
