Tenuta Venterra Triumphant for First Time in New York
Situated in the southeastern corner of Italy, Tenuta Venterra has triumphed for the first time at the 2022 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.
(This award) is greatly satisfying after all the efforts we made throughout the year.

The Apulian producer took home a Gold Award for its mutlivarietal brand, a medium organic blend of Frantoio, Coratina, Picholine and Peranzana olives.
"[This award] is greatly satisfying after all the efforts we made throughout the year," owner Antonella Ferrara said.
She added that the timing of the harvest and a few unforeseen technical events made this year's harvest even more challenging than expected.
Despite these challenges, Tenuta Venterra still produced 105,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil in the 2021/22 crop year.
Tenuta Venterra's multivarietal will now be added to the Official Guide to the World's Best Olive Oils. The annual listing of NYIOOC winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year's best extra virgin olive oils.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is held each spring in New York and is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest.
