Tenuta Angelici Wins Gold Award in World Competition
Italian producer Tenuta Angelici has won a Gold Award at the 2021 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
We hope that this result will give us the right visibility to sell our product and host people from all over the world.

In the 2020/21 crop year, the company produced 1,500 liters of organic extra virgin olive oil in Tuscany from Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Pendolino olives using traditional methods. Tenuta Angelici earned the Gold Award for its Oro di Gea brand, an organic medium blend.
"Having achieved this result is a great satisfaction," owner Valentina Angelici Horecki said. "Letting the world know that in the Cortona area they will be able to find one of the best oils in the world at our company makes us proud. We hope that this result will give us the right visibility to sell our product and host people from all over the world."
Like many other Tuscan producers, Angelici Horecki added that 2020 had been an excellent harvest for the region, resulting in plenty of high-quality extra virgin olive oils.
"We will remember this year's olive harvest for a long time," she said. "It was a perfect year. Nature in Tuscany gave us the best quality harvest of the last 20 years. The effort is always great, but when these results are achieved, we can be satisfied."
