a year agoBy OOT Staff

Croatian producer Nai 3.3 has won its fourth-straight award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.

I'm very proud. This award will give us more strenght for next year.

Nives Morović, owner

The Dalmatian family farm earned a Gold Award for its organic medium Coratina, which has received top honors at the NYIOOC every year since 2020.

"I'm very proud," owner Nives Morović said. "This award will give us more strength for next year."

She added that the award is especially gratifying after a tough year of little rain and extreme drought on the Dalmatian island of Dugi otok.

Held each spring in New York, the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.

The complete list of winners can be viewed in the Official Guide of the World's Best Olive Oils.
