OPG Surać Caps Off Bumper Harvest With 2025 NYIOOC Win
Croatian producer OPG Surać has won a Silver Award at the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
Situated on the coast near Zadar in Dalmatia, the company earned its award at the 2025 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for its Koruna OPG Surać, a medium-intensity blend.

"I feel very happy about this award; it motivates us to keep up the good work," owner Božo Surać said. The producer previously earned a Gold Award at the 2021 NYIOOC.
OPG Surać produced 1,200 liters of extra virgin olive oil from Coratina, Leccino and Lastovka olives using traditional methods in the 2024/25 crop year.
"There were a lot of olives to be harvested and not much time to make high-quality olive oil," Surać said.

OPG Surać is listed in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
