Micro-Producer Sunjic Oil Awarded at 2025 NYIOOC
Sunjic Oil from Croatia has won a Silver Award at the 2025 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
The Dalmatian producer earned its debut World Competition accolade for its Sunjic Oblica brand, a medium-intensity Oblica.

"This Silver Award further motivates us to continue with dedication and proudly present our oil to olive oil enthusiasts around the world," co-owner Bojan Sunjic said. "Thank you to everyone who supports us on this journey–the best is yet to come."

"Last year's yield exceeded all our expectations," Sunjic said. "The fruit was completely undamaged during the harvest, which is unusual since we do not treat our olives against pests."
"We remained true to traditional hand-picking methods, avoiding mechanical harvesters, as we believe this contributes to the superior aromas of our oil," he added.

Sunjic Oil is listed in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
