Olio Traldi Makes Wins Again for Eximius and Athos
Italian producer Olio Traldi has won two Gold Awards at the 2021 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
To be sure that the hard work we do is appreciated is the greatest satisfaction. We are honored by this prestigious award.
Francesca Boni said about the award
In the 2020/21 crop year, the company produced 10,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil in Lazio using traditional harvesting methods.
Olio Traldi earned the two Gold Awards for its Eximius brand, a medium Caninese, and its Athos brand, a robust blend. 2021 is the third consecutive year that both brands have been awarded.
"To be sure that the hard work we do is appreciated is the greatest satisfaction," owner Francesca Boni said. "We are honored by this prestigious award."
She added that 2020 had been a challenging year for her, in terms of being able to sell her extra virgin olive oil.
"The biggest challenge was to succeed in selling all our products during the pandemic," Boni said. "Facing people’s fear and awareness of offering ever-higher quality has been the challenge of this difficult year."
