Magihouse Wins 3rd Straight at 2020 NYIOOC
For the third consecutive year, Magihouse has been awarded at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.
In the 2020 edition of the world's most prestigious competition, the Sicilian producer took home a Gold Award for its Valle dell'Inferno Family Reserve, a medium blend.
We are so pleased and proud. Our main satisfaction is to be awarded by the best panel in the world. For our company, it means that we are positioned at the highest level.

Company owner Gabriella Giambrone said the result would help to boost the brand's image.
"We are so pleased and proud," she said. "Our main satisfaction is to be awarded by the best panel in the world. For our company, it means that we are positioned at the highest level."
Magihouse produces extra virgin olive oil from Nocellara del Belice, Tonda Iblea, Cerasuola, Biancolilla, Nocellara Etnea, Biancolilla Centinara and Moresca olives using traditional methods.
While many producers endured various hardships throughout the 2019/20 season, Giambrone said that Magihouse got lucky with the weather and had one of its best years yet.
"2019 was one of the best harvests for us," Giambrone said. "The weather conditions and ripening were perfect."
