Ikoyenia Victorious with Koroneiki at 2023 NYIOOC
Ikoyenia has won an award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
We are humbled and thankful for the award. Olive oil production requires dedication and talent from many people, and this recognition is shared with each one of them.

The company, which produces in Greece and imports to Mexico and the United States, earned a Silver Award for its Mánamu brand, a medium Koroneiki.
"We are humbled and thankful for the award," owner Roberto Gotsis said. "Olive oil production requires dedication and talent from many people, and this recognition is shared with each one of them."
"This award will help us market our extra virgin olive oil more effectively to customers who seek premium and authentic Greek olive oil," he added.
In the 2022/23 crop year, the company produced 40,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
"Every season is always a challenge and particularly different from previous seasons," Gotsis said. "This season, we faced labor shortages and higher energy costs. We were able to manage our crops thanks to our dedicated collaborators and their talented hands."
