The Italian producer Etrurio has won a Gold Award at the 2021 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
We are very proud of the result achieved, but most of all, we are proud of the consistency we have been providing to our customers.

In the 2020/21 crop year, the company produced 8,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil in Tuscany using machine methods. Etrurio won the Gold Award for its medium blend.
"We are very proud of the result achieved, but most of all, we are proud of the consistency we have been providing to our customers," owner Andrea Sozzi Sabatini said, adding that 2020 had been the company's best harvest to date.
"The 2020/21 season was the best one for us since we started," he said. "Thanks to the fine-tuning done during the trimming and harvesting, everything went smoothly."
This year's Gold Award is the third consecutive one the company has earned at the competition. Etrurio also won a Silver Award in 2018.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
