Tunisian producer Ben Amor Agricole has won a Silver Award at the 2020 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for its Koliva brand, a medium-intensity Chemlali.
We are proud to have produced this high-quality Koliva extra virgin olive oil. This prize will allow our company to develop and conquer new markets.

In the 2019/20 season, Ben Amor Agricole produced 100 tons of extra virgin olive oil.
"We are proud to have produced this high-quality Koliva extra virgin olive oil," owner Jalel Ben Amor said. "This prize will allow our company to develop and conquer new markets."
In spite of his company's success, Ben Amor said the vast quantity of production in Tunisia and the European Union has driven prices down and made producing oil profitably more difficult.
"The biggest difficulty we encountered is that the production in Tunisia as well as in Europe was very high," he said. "This has an impact on prices, which have dropped considerably, compared to other years."
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
