Pagano Awarded for Organic Biancolilla at 2021 NYIOOC
Italian producer Azienda Agricola Pagano has won a Silver Award at the 2021 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
We are very happy with the award. Participating in the NYIOOC has meant a lot to us. We work very hard throughout the year to obtain a better organic extra virgin olive oil and for us, this recognition is very important.
Antonio Pagano said about the award
The company produces organic extra virgin olive oil in Sicily using traditional methods. CEO Antonio Pagano earned the Silver Award for his organic medium Biancolilla.
"We are very happy with the award," he said. "Participating in the NYIOOC has meant a lot to us. We work very hard throughout the year to obtain a better organic extra virgin olive oil and for us, this recognition is very important."
Pagano added that the award comes as a relief after a particularly challenging year.
"This award is excellent news for us, especially after the incredible period we are all experiencing due to the Covid-19 pandemic," he said.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest. The annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
