Aceites Moral Awarded for Organic Picual
Spanish producer Aceites Moral has triumphed at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
We are very proud of this award since it values all the work of these years and motivates us so that we can continue producing the best olive oils in the world for many more years.

The Andalusian company earned a Gold Awad for its Verde Divino brand, an organic medium Picual.
"We are very proud of this award since it values all the work of these years and motivates us so that we can continue producing the best olive oils in the world for many more years," chief executive Juan Moral said.
In the 2022/23 crop year, the company produced 3,050 liters of extra virgin olive oil using machine methods.
Moral said receiving this award was particularly gratifying after the challenging harvest he and his fellow Andalusians faced.
"The situation in Spain has been worrisome," he said. "The droughts and high temperatures have affected the development of the olive fruit."
"As a consequence, oil production has plummeted to less than half compared to the previous season," Moral added. "Despite this, we have managed to produce one of the best oils in the world."
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
