Aceites Agro Sevilla Wins Gold at 2020 NYIOOC
Aceites Agro Sevilla, S.A.U. from Spain has won a Gold Award at the 2020 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
The company produces extra virgin olive oil in Andalusia (Spain) from Picual olives.
The 2019/2020 season was marked by significant challenges, the company's marketing manager said after receiving news of the award.
"Multiple hot spells with day temperatures above 45°C, and little to no seasonal rainfall, were just some of the challenges olive producers had to battle along the season," Finbarr González O'Sullivan said.
Aceites Agro Sevilla, S.A.U. won a Gold Award for its Coopoliva Gold, a robust Picual.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the most prestigious olive oil quality contest, so we feel so proud to be one of the awarded oils, as the Spanish EVOO quality and properties are well known all over the world.
