Dalmatian producer 2Storije has won a second-consecutive Gold Award at the 2022 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.
Winning Gold is not just a pleasure, it is proof that we are on right track and that traditional and ecologic production is our future.

"Winning Gold is not just a pleasure, it is proof that we are on right track and that traditional and ecologic production is our future," co-owner Denis Plastic said.
"The feeling is hard to describe because this is only what a true olive grower who puts a lot of love into what he does every day can feel," he added.
2Storije earned the award for an organic medium blend. Plastic attributed his success to long days and plenty of hard work.
"There is a lot of behind our success," he said. "Early morning and late nights sleeping with olives on your mind. Hard work, sacrifice, passion and belief are key to success."
"We had an extremely hard year, but if you ask us does it worth it," Plastic added. "We say yes, every minute spent on our olives is worth it for such recognition."
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
