Official Index of the World’s Best Olive Oils

Insula Zonti

By OPG Mudronja

Insula Zonti extra virgin olive oil comes from the olive groves of the island of Žut on the Kornati archipelago in Dalmatia, Croatia. The EVOO is made from the autochthonous Oblica variety of olive, with an intensely fruity and grassy aroma and a distinctive note of pleasant bitterness. The olives are picked by hand and processed the old-fashioned way.

About OPG Mudronja

We are a small family company located on the beautiful island of Žut on the Kornati archipelago in Dalmatia, Croatia. We've been producing our olive oil for more than 20 years now in our olive grove of more than 300 trees, which spread across the islands. Some of our trees are more than hundred years old. The absence of essential living conditions such as water or electricity did not stop us from doing what we love. On the contrary, it inspired us to work even harder.
