Fattoria Poggio di Fiesole
Fattoria Poggio di Fiesole extra virgin olive oil comes from centuries-old groves of organic Frantoio, Moraiolo, Pendolino and Leccino varieties. We harvest by hand at the fruit’s peak ripeness and press the olives once, at cold temperatures, within eight hours of harvesting. Our oil is a vivid green with persistent spiciness and a medium-high bitterness with hints of fresh herbs and olive leaves.
Where to Find The Fattoria Poggio di Fiesole is nestled in the Florentine hills, roughly three kilometers north of the historic center of Fiesole. The family-run farm is situated between 450 and 600 meters above sea level and is spread over 28 hectares, 15 of which are dedicated to olive groves. The estate, owned by the Scaravelli family for over a century, produces around 40 quintals of oil annually, following organic farming principles.
