We cultivate Pendolino, Istarska bijelica and Leccino olives in the characteristic rich red soils of Istria. We pick our olives mostly by hand and partly with a hand vibration machine. We don’t treat the trees or soil with chemicals at all. We are in the progress of becoming certified organic. We want to stand up for nature and believe our extra virgin olive oil does just this.

Our family's small olive grove is located in central Istria. The windless and elevated southern exposure seems to benefit the trees. Our grandparents left us this beautiful land, and we tried our best to take care of it. The olive varieties Leccino, Pendolino, Oblica and Istarska bjelica are early harvested (hand-picked) and brought directly to a nearby mill. Bellistra stands for our name and origin.
