In the 2020/21 crop year, the company produced 270 liters of extra virgin olive oil in Istria using traditional methods. OPG Turinela earned the Gold Award for a medium blend.
"Winning Gold at the NYIOOC is expert confirmation of our hard work and dedication to quality without compromise," owner Aurora Volarević said. "That is highly appreciated among our customers."
She added that the award is especially gratifying after heavy rain during pollination complicated the 2020 harvest.
