3 years agoBy OOT Staff

Opg Lucio from Croatia has won 2 gold awards at the 2022 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.

We are very happy about winning these prizes, and we thank our olive trees, for they rewarded our hard work in the best way.

Opg Lucio won the coveted Gold Awards for its Lucio Oblica & Šoltanka blend and Lucio Šoltanka, a medium Levantinka monovarietal.

The company produces high-quality extra virgin olive oil using traditional harvesting methods.

The 2021/2022 season was marked by an unusually dry climate, the company's owner said, after receiving news of the award.

It was a very dry year, and the olives suffered a lot but the rain came at the last moment.
