Oleosalgado Wins With Hojiblanca at 2020 NYIOOC
Oleosalgado SA from Spain took a Silver Award at NYIOOC World, the world's premier olive oil quality contest.
We feel GREAT! For us, it is a recognition of all the people that work hard in all parts of the process, from the farmer and day labors to the oil mill master. It is recognition also for the commitment to EVOO quality.

The company produced 5,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil in Andalusia from Hojiblanca olives using traditional harvesting methods this year.
The company focused on thwarting the olive fly and working to mitigate the effects of temperature changes and insufficient rain during the year, CEO Javier Salgado said after receiving news of the award.
The winning oil was Pago de Visajeros, a delicate Hojiblanca, produced by Aceites Rafael Salgado.
"We feel GREAT! For us, it is a recognition of all the people that work hard in all parts of the process, from the farmer and day labors to the oil mill master. It is recognition also for the commitment to EVOO quality," Salgado said.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
