Tunisian company Medagro SA took a Silver Award at NYIOOC World this year.
We are very proud of our company, our brand and our team. Winning in NYIOOC is very important for us.

Company owner Samia Salma Belkhiria noted, when learning of the award today, that the season had been challenged by unusually hot weather.
"We faced hot weather in October, in Tunisia, so we were obliged to pick olives through night shifts," Belkhiria said.
The winning oil was Ruspina, an organic delicate blend produced via traditional methods.
Belkhiria remarked that the possibility of a second win at the world's most prestigious olive oil quality competition in the future would motivate the company to continue to improve oil quality.
"We are very proud of our company, our brand and our team. Winning in NYIOOC, is very important for us, since we are very interested in US market penetration," Belkhiria said.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
