Kali, from Italy, has won a Silver Award at the 2020 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for its Organic Toscano IGP, an organic medium-intensity Leccino.
We hope organic extra virgin olive oil lovers will be able to reach us through the NYIOOC portal. We look forward to sharing with them the fruit of our hard work!

In the 2019/20 season, the Tuscan-based agricultural association produced 500 liters of the organic extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
"We hope organic extra virgin olive oil lovers will be able to reach us through the NYIOOC portal," marketing manager Edoardo Marignoni said.
"We look forward to sharing with them the fruit of our hard work!"
He added that this year's award was particularly gratifying after the trouble Kali producers had at the very beginning of the harvest.
"The adverse weather conditions with ongoing rain showers forced us to postpone the start of the harvest," Marigoni said. "Finally, on October 8, 2019, we began harvesting: more than 5,000 olive trees on an area of about 40 acres were waiting for us!"
"After the harvest, we ended with about 50 tons of olives," he added. "We had an increase of 150 percent compared to the 2018 harvest."
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
