Family Ivić Blend Wins Gold in World Competition
OPG Boris i Ivanka from Croatia has been awarded at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
We can hardly describe in words how important this is for our small family farm. This is a magnificent reward for the effort that our small family invests in this farm.

The Dalmatia-based producer outside Krka National Park earned a Gold Award for its Family Ivić brand, a medium blend.
Owner Krešimir Ivić said he was excited to receive the award. "We can hardly describe in words how important this is for our small family farm," he added. "This is a magnificent reward for the effort that our small family invests in this farm."
In the 2022/23 crop year, the family farm produced 5,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
Finding enough workers to harvest the family's 720 trees was one of the biggest challenges Ivić faced.
"Considering that we cherish the traditional method of production, the biggest problem during the harvest is finding workers," he confirmed. "Also, we sometimes have problems with the weather during the harvest."
Held each spring in New York, the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world's most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
