Conte Spagnoletti Zeuli Awarded for Outstanding Coratina
The Italian producer, Conte Spagnoletti Zeuli, has won a Gold Award at the 2020 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for its medium Coratina.

It was the third time the monovarietal has been awarded Gold at the competition.
"It is a great achievement that rewards 12 month of work," owner Onofrio Spagnoletti Zeuli said. "I am very happy with my Coratina, finally recognized among the most important oil cultivars in the world!"
In the 2019/20 season, the Puglian producer harvested 300,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
Spagnoletti said that 2019 had been an important year for the company and is proud of the high-quality result.
"The harvest was very demanding, but rewarded us with a superlative extra virgin olive oil," he said.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
